I didn’t even notice that I don’t feel jealousy as often as I use too. Let me tell you, I feel free, and the freedom that I have internally is all worth it. That’s why I decided to share with you what steps I took to overcome that nasty negativity that lives inside of us.

Recognize You’re Jealous
When I felt jealous, I would not even realize it. I now self-monitor daily, how I do that is I become self-aware of how I’m grappling with every situation that arises. I know when I’m anxious, mad, angry and even jealous. That is my first indicator to take control. Start today, start self-monitoring by knowing what type of emotions are rising up for you.Remind Yourself Of Your Positive Traits
I’m continually reminding myself of all of my good qualities. Do it, next time you see yourself in the mirror tell yourself how beautiful you are, how active you are and how intelligent you are. It works, keep pointing out your good traits on a daily basis. Bring out the power you have within.Manage Your Emotions
The way you manage your feelings is by taking deep breaths and calming yourself down. Talk yourself out of that jealousy, tell yourself a different story. Besides, the more in control you are, the better the outcome. If you find yourself jealous with good reason, then, even more, you need to bring in your inner dialog on your side. You are the winner, always ask yourself, “what is my strength right now”? Think of a time that you were confident, and stick to that feeling. Bring out your advantage in every situation, minimize the drama and keep your head up high. That’s the real power. But, you have to believe in your ability to be powerful.Shift Your Point Of View
Shifting your point of view will allow you to see things differently and let the anger subside, and then you can do something else. It’s a form of reframing and redirecting your mind.In summary, I’m not here to tell you that it’s easy, or that you will practice these points and it’s all going to be good.
